Role description
The role of the Clinical Support Pharmacist is to provide consultative support to healthcare providers to assist in appropriate use and interpretation of the OneOme RightMed test. The clinical support pharmacist will also be integrally involved in supporting the clinical and product development teams, by performing drug-gene data curation to synthesize content for implementation in OneOme’s pharmacogenomic database and reporting algorithm. Additionally, this role will support collateral development, responses to unsolicited medical inquiries, and field-based medical affairs including customer trainings.


This position requires excellent attention to detail, outgoing communication and inter-personal skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a diverse team environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and provide clinical support to our customers: physicians, clinics, medical staff
  • Accurately and directly inform and educate customers on the appropriate use of pharmacogenomic testing and results
  • Collaborate with team members to provide excellent and consistent pharmacy support
  • Develop and disseminate marketing materials where clinical expertise is required
  • Managing various projects and product initiatives, including drug-gene curation
  • Proactively identify and work to resolve any issues that may adversely affect the quality of the customer experience
  • Other duties as assigned/needed


Qualifications

  • PharmD or BS pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state Board of Pharmacy in Minnesota
  • 2+ years pharmacy experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational/task management skills
  • Working knowledge of pharmacogenomics, with prior related work experience or coursework highly preferred

Schedule and hours
This is a part time position and will require the ability to work during normal business hours Monday-Friday 8AM to 5 PM, and occasional after-hours support as defined.

The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The employee is required to perform repetitive motions, including reaching above the head, and typing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Color-blindness testing is required for those with job-specific duties requiring color discrimination.
