About the presenter

Erica

Erica Schnettler, PhD is a Medical Science Liaison at OneOme. Dr. Schnettler received her BS in genetics from Iowa State University and PhD in pharmacology from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Her PhD research focused on ovarian cancer and understanding the role of the tumor microenvironment. As a research fellow at Mayo Clinic she studied the pharmacogenomics of anticancer agents including gemcitabine, triciribine, and temozolomide. She strongly believes precision medicine, specifically pharmacogenetics, is a valuable tool to optimize chemotherapy plus supportive care safety and efficacy, ultimately improving patient health outcomes.
